Food Walk at Ramzan Mela in Mominpura

It’s the month of Ramzan, when Muslims abstain from food and water throughout the day until dusk. It is only after Maghrib (dusk) prayers that one is allowed to break his or her fast, and that event is called as iftar.

The month of Ramzan observes a special Mela in Mominpura selling varieties of food and numerous stalls selling clothes, ittar (natural perfume), and other needs! On this tour we would not only taste but would also know the place its history, the intangible heritage of our city and see the Badi Jama Masjid in Mominpura. Savouring some of the special coconut nankhatais , bun omelet and the very famous dabba.
